Join the Calgary Plant Study Group on January 24th for PLANTS ON THE PAGE! – A workshop to explore the practice of writing about nature with a focus on botany and botanical themed fiction and non-fiction. Heather Clitheroe, a Science Fiction and Fantasy author and PhD candidate with the University of Calgary
English Department, will guide us through exercises that focus on literary and creative descriptions of specimens from the herbarium. No writing experience needed – just bring your love of plants with a notebook and pencil. The group will meet in the Herbarium at the University of Calgary between 1-3 pm.
