The monthly Peace River Plant Study Group brings together people who enjoy the outdoors and learning about local plant species. Anyone interested is welcome to attend our monthly meetups on the first Thursday of each month! No experience is necessary. You will learn about and practice identifying native plant species, including a brief presentation about a specific plant topic each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next event will be January 9th, the topic is Inspirational Plant Books! Attending group members are requested to each bring the titles of at least two books (and copies of them if they wish) that inspired or shaped their interest in native plants, ecology, natural history, botany\/biology, or plant ID to share with the rest of the group. This meeting is a discussion\/show and tell format to share books\/guides that other members may want to check out. Titles will be compiled into a suggested reading list available to everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
