Central Alberta Plant Study Group (Edmonton)
The ANPC Central Alberta Plant Study Group (CA PSG) meeting season runs from October until April, where regular meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month, starting at 6:30 PM MT. The meetings are in-person and are hosted by various speakers on various topics related to plants, with a focus on Alberta and native plants. All are welcome – novice to advanced botanists! The meetings take place in Edmonton at the University of Alberta main campus (Botany Wing, Biological Science Centre, ALTA Herbarium).

Peace River Plant Study Group
Regularly scheduled meetings continue year round, with indoor meetings during the winter months, and outdoor plant walks in the summer months.
Location:  NAIT Centre for Boreal Research, 8102 – 99 Avenue, Peace River, AB (beside Northern Lakes College). Parking is free in front of the building.
Date: The first Thursday of the month
Time: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM MT
Recommended Items to bring: Notebook, favourite reference book if you have one (not required) plus your inner plant plant nerd. Your own snacks or beverage if desired.

Southern Alberta Plant Study Group (Calgary)
Calgary Plant Study Group (Calgary PSG) meets from October to March on the first or second Saturday of the month starting at 1 PM. Please join us at the University of Calgary Herbarium for informative presentations, plant study opportunities and open discussions on a range of topics regarding native plants and ecosystems.
