The Calgary Plant Study Group meets from October to March. On December 7th, join us for presentations on:
- Creating a Native Seed Bank for Fish Creek Provincial Park. Emma Shroud, Team Lead – Ecology and Conservation with Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society will detail their creative methods for obtaining seed and plant stock for Park restoration projects.
- Come Learn the Wildflowers! Bring your note/sketch pads for a hands-on exploration of some wildflowers that are used for restoration in Fish Creek Provincial Park.
Please join us at the University of Calgary Herbarium between 1-3 pm for informative presentations, plant study opportunities, and open discussions on a range of topics regarding native plants and ecosystems.
